API Keys

No API Key is created, you don't have any tickets

Use the mobile apps

The check-in apps are used to scan tickets purchased on HelloEcho.com. The most common method to check the validity of tickets is to use our mobile apps. Install mobile apps You can downloaded either the Android or iOS app via the following links: Login to the mobile apps When you click the check-in app link you will launch the app and see the login screen: In the “WordPress Installation URL” you type in https://helloecho.com. Your 8-character “API Key” can be found in the top of this page. Make sure to activate the “Auto login” feature so the app remembers the login credentials for easy login later. When you click the “Sign In” button you will see the stats screen that informs you how many tickets are sold and how many are checked-in. Scan tickets with the QR code reader You can now scan tickets by clicking the camera button and pointing the camera of your smart phone to a QR code on a ticket. Depending on the ticket you will get one of two responses: The response “Success – Ticket has been checked in” means that the ticket is valid. If there is any error to the ticket or if the ticket is used too many times or if there are other problems, you will see this “Error – Wrong ticket code”. Checking guests in manually If you would like to check-in guests manually then you can access the menu in the top left corner and when the menu opens, go to “List”. From here you can search for the name of the guest or order ID, find the ticket and check-in manually.

Use the Chrome extension for laptops or desktops

You can also use the Check-in extension for Chrome, instead of the mobile apps, if you want to check-in customers with a desktop or laptop computer. Install Chrome extension To install this, open a Google Chrome browser and click below link to the “Chrome Web Store”: Remember that you need to use the Google Chrome browser to be able to install the extension. On the Chrome Web Store, click the blue “Add to Chrome” button and then the “Add app” button. You will now see the check-in app link on the far right in your list of apps on the “Chrome://apps” page. If you don’t see the Chrome apps page then navigate to “Chrome://apps” by typing it in the address bar and bookmark this page, so you can easily find it again. Login to the Chrome extension When you click the check-in app link you will launch the app and see the login screen: In the “WordPress Installation URL” you type in https://helloecho.com. When you click the “Sign In” button you will see the stats screen informing you how many tickets are sold and how many are checked-in. In the bottom left corner you can see a yellow wifi signal showing you that the application is updated and ready to be used.
