Get more bookings and orders

HelloEcho doesn’t promote your business or profile page, we promote individual recommendations made of your business, or your product or service, by individual people such as promoters like social media creators or hotels. Therefore, the basic key to get more bookings is to first get more recommendations by regular users or by promoters.

The recommendations are viewed by the users of HelloEcho either beacuse they search the HelloEcho front page directly, or because they visit a profile page of a promoter on HelloEcho.

How to be visible in searches through the front page of HelloEcho.com

You need just 1 really good recommendation, and without giving away all the secrets of our proprietary algorithm, it is very valuable to have a recommendation with many echoes. Remember, an echo is essentially a vote in the HelloEcho community that someone agrees with another user that a recommendation is so good that instead of making their own recommendation they will echo someone else’s recommendation. So, in short, to rank highly on the front page of HelloEcho it is better to have 1 recommendation with many echoes than many recommendations with 1 echo.

Keep an eye on the recommendations you get on the “Recommendations” page, and work with creators that produce high quality content, that is likely to be echoed by many people. Consider promoting the recommendations you get your self on your business social media to thank the creator who made the recommendation and make sure they get more echoes and thus better rankings on the front page.

How to be visible in profiles of users and promoters

Visibility on the profiles of users and promoters is mostly a matter of whether or not the user or promoter has recommended your product, service or business in general. So, to get more recommendations you should consider enabling or raising your discounts and commission offers on the “Promotions settings” page. This will attract more people to try your product or service which is necessary for them to be able to recommend you. A second issue is that the recommendations you get must be active to be displayed. A recommendation can be inactive either because a user has manually set it inactive or more likely because they require more commission and/or discount than you offer. Therefore, keep an eye on your “Promotions settings” page to see how many recommendations you have and how many you can activate with commissions and discounts. You can see that by clicking the “Test settings” button. This will open a popup to show you the number of recommendations and how many you can activate. See an example below:

In this example the business has 1 inactive recommendation, and this can be activated by offering DKK 50 per booking. On the “Recommendations” page the business manager would be able to see who made the recommendation and thus evaluate if it is worth activating the recommendation or not. This will obviously depend on the required commission and the number of recommendations that could be activated and the ultimate social media reach of the recommenders.

We recommend experimenting with this, and see what happens if you activate. Maybe this 1 recommendation will bring in many bookings and maybe not. If the number of recommendations had been 100, then you would probably see a lot of promotion resulting from activating all of them. Again, do some testing and see how it goes.
