The Earth Bears Your Mark Stone – Arabic

This is in Arabic, because many people living here in multicultural Nørrebro have Arabic as either their first or second language. The stone was placed here because this church harbored asylum seekers in 2009 that had been rejected by the authorities. There was a lot of media coverage of this when the Police came and took away the refugees. The church became a place that illustrated the hardship of the refugees, who mostly come from Arabic speaking countries.
