Frederiks Church

About Frederiks Church
Before the Frederiks church was developed, the church was intended as a monomumental church to celebrate the 300 year rule of the Oldenborg family reign in Denmark, and king Frederik V laid the founding stone on the 30th of. October 1749 as part of the anniversary celebration. The building was not completed before 1894, almost 150 years later, party because the original architect died shortly after construction started and partly for financial reasons.
