Fish Island Bird Sanctuary

This little island has become a bird sanctuary, together with the larger island in one of the other lakes. You wouldn’t think it when you look at the lakes, but there is quite a diversity of fish life with even mussels and eels. This attracts many birds that fish here and stay here as a stop on their migration paths.
