Should I be a “Business” or “Private” promoter?
As a promoter you can choose to be either a business partner or a private freelancer. If you have registered as a business with the Danish taxation authorities and have a VAT number, you can choose to be a business promoter and handle all the VAT reporting and taxation yourself. If you sign-up as a private freelancer, you will receive commission as a freelancer fee, and you will need to report this as “B-indkomst” in your tax returns. The commission you earn is the same for the two models.
How do offers for creators work?
Start from the promotions page, and click on one of the listing cards to see the offer details on the listing page of a business with an offer. Here you see the offers created by the business to you as a creator. One-time offers enable you to get a large discount for yourself, so that you can be incentivized to try out the services of the business. Businesses can also set discounts that are always available to you, which will be lower than the one-time discount.
How can I share my recommendations?
You can share your recommendations by sharing the direct link to the recommendation or by sharing a link to your public profile, that shows all your recommendations. The link to the public profile can be seen on the Public profile details page or by clicking your image in the top menu.

The second way is to invite a business to join HelloEcho by setting up a recommendation for a business you have not found on the promotions page. In this way we can see that you want to work with the business and we will contact the business, and let them know they should consider making promotional offers like commissions and discounts.
