Om Church of Holmen
The church was constructed in 1620 and expanded in 1641 into a cruciform church to make more space for the growing population. The current Queen Margrethe II was married to her husband prince Henri De Monpezat in 1967 in this church. It is also the burial site of Niels Juel and other Danish naval heroes.
